Short answerWeb designers in Sharjah, Ajman and Abu Dhabi publish prices from about AED 420 to AED 999 for a site of a few pages, about AED 2,000 to AED 2,500 for a full business site and about AED 4,000 for an online shop. What the price leaves out matters more than the price: hosting, changes after launch, texts and photos often cost extra. At MM² a managed website costs AED 1,500 to AED 5,000 once and AED 299 to AED 799 a month with hosting and changes included, and custom company websites start at AED 4,900.
A tailor in Al Nuaimiya asks three web designers what a website costs. The answers come back as AED 499, AED 999 and AED 2,500. All three are honest prices. They are for three different things.
What web designers here publish
Some providers in the three emirates put their prices online. These are the published prices on 23 October 2026:
- The Web Makers (page for Ajman): AED 999 for up to 5 pages, AED 2,500 for up to 6 pages on WordPress, AED 3,999 for an online shop on WooCommerce or Shopify, and a care plan at AED 299 a month.
- DigiSphere (page for Sharjah): AED 499 for a one-page site, AED 999 for a multi-page site and AED 1,999 for a site built to generate leads.
- Website Design Abu Dhabi: AED 420 for 1 to 3 pages up to AED 1,650 for up to 15 pages.
Prices change, so check the provider's own page before you compare. The links are at the end of this article.
What a low price usually leaves out
A package price covers building the pages. Ask what happens around them, because that is where the cost differences sit.
- Hosting and the domain after the first year. Who pays, and how much at renewal?
- Changes after launch. A new price, a new photo, Ramadan hours. Included, or charged per change?
- Texts and photos. Does the designer write the pages, or do you send everything ready?
- Arabic. A second language is often a separate price.
- Ownership. Who owns the domain, the design and the content if you stop working together?
- Care. Updates, backups and security. Part of the price, or a monthly plan?
Compare over two years, not on day one
Two published offers, side by side over 24 months. A one-off site at AED 999 plus a care plan at AED 299 a month comes to AED 8,175. A managed website from MM² on the Small plan costs AED 1,500 once and AED 299 a month, AED 8,676 over the same time, with hosting, the domain and one small change a month included.
The totals are close. The difference is in what each one includes and who does the work. Ask every provider for the same two-year figure, with the same things included, and the comparison becomes fair.
Is a website more expensive in Abu Dhabi than in Ajman?
The emirate does not set the price, the provider does. A designer in Abu Dhabi can be cheaper than one in Ajman, as the prices above show. At MM² the prices are the same in all seven emirates: web design in Sharjah, in Ajman and in Abu Dhabi cost what they cost in Dubai.
For a company that needs more than a few pages, such as products with datasheets, several languages or a quotation form, a custom website is the better comparison. Those start at AED 4,900 at MM² and are quoted in writing. Our guide to website costs in Dubai explains the price ranges in more detail.
